I own a 98 Wideglide and a 03 Heritage classic at this time and my leg is always against the air cleaner. Forward controls on the Wideglide and floorboards plus highway pegs on the Heritage classic. Don't even notice it. Seems like one leg or another has always been against something every since I started riding as a kid. Usually doesn't take long to get it off the really hot crap. Glad the air cleaner is cool.

2011 Wide Glide, 5' 11". Ditched the stock air cleaner for one from Arlen Ness. Main problem is engaging the rear brake but also keeping my right foot on the peg.

I have the open A/C on my RK and my knee touches all the time. Like many others have said, it doesn't bother you when riding and honestly I don't even notice it anymore.

I am 5'9" with a '10 Wide Glide and the only real problem is it can be a bit awkward to get to the brake pedal twisting the foot in to get to it. It is not a problem when riding. I have thought very seriously about replacing the air cleaner but it isn't a huge priority.

Not a big deal. You'll learn to live with it or you'll change it out for a less obtrusive low profile A/C. Look at part# 28721-10 or 28722-10. Flows really well with the right element (filter) installed.

I'm 5'8" and ride an '11 FXDWG. My leg hits the A/C often, but I've adapted to it the same as I adapted to the different handlebars (used to ride a '99 FXD).

Braking isn't a problem for me .... but I move my feet around all the time anyway.

I'm 5"8" and have the Big Air air cleaner on my NT. My knee rests against it, it's never been a problem.
