I get on the forum this afternoon and four of the top five threads were folks telling about something that happened in traffic. I guess my thought is, whether you are in a car or on a bike, stuff like that is going to happen so, just deal with it. Ride safely, ride defensively and watch out for everyone.
I like when people post their near misses, so I can learn from them. But the other day there was a couple of threads about being rear ended at a light. So the next day I paid extra attention to my mirrors pulling up to a light. As I made a mental note of my development into a master biker, the light turned green. I let out the clutch and stalled. I was in 3rd.
Duh!
It feels good to vent what happened on the forums.
So who exactly do you vent to about what happens on the forum? lol
I don't mind the odd one if it's a real close one or something can be learned, but op is correct - most of these don't need to be shared and the ones that are "made up" really baffle me.
