Wife needs a new helmet, here is the problem... She wears a XXL
go ahead, get all the jokes out of your system.
Now, her head seems to be very oval shaped so typical round helmets put a ton of pressure on her forehead. And obviously, being 2x, there aren't a lot of helmets in stores to try on.
She wants a 3/4... any help?
I wear a xl Daytona 3/4 and love it.. thinking about just ordering her one.
Check out revzilla. They have some video reviews on there and usually state if it is more of a round or oval helmet. The Scorpion EXO helmet that I have been looking at is supposed to me more oval. I still say go with the Daytona unless she wants air vents. I'll come by later to make my jokes in person.
Can't help with the shopping for right size, but show this picture to your wife. This is my wife after a 45 MPH slide in a parking lot wearing a 3/4 helmet. She wears a full face helmet ever since this incident. I ain't a helmet preacher - I never wear one myself, but women tend to care more about their faces than ugly old farts like me.

Man, I would love for her to wear a full-face, but the visor triggers motion-sickness with her.
It is either a 3/4 or she doesn't ride. We all know the answer to that question.

After seeing that I think I'm going to put my 3/4 in the shop and get a full face. That has got to hurt.
She could still remove the visor. Hard part may be talking her into a FF. Maybe a modular.
Modular won't be any different than what she is riding in now. The problem is the amount of exposed area that is catching air. She needs something with less surface area.
I am thinking best options are a Bell 500, Daytona, or a Licks
