You've got some beautiful roads to ride there. I would love to spend a few days cruising the area you are in. Whenever I have a day or two I like to park my truck at the TA truckstop there and just hang out.
I guy I was on tour with and myself found a great little bar in Montgomery a few years back. I had a great time there. Can't remember the name of it but it was near some Railroad tracks I think and it was kinda run down (my kind of place). Wasn't very big and I seem to remember it not being very level either. Seems like the whole bldg was lop sided. There was some kind of cold storage or something across the street where we were able to park our tractors.

I don't know. All I remember is we came out of the TA and went down to the road where the freeway on ramp is (where that place is that they shut down because of drugs and ******) and took a left under the freeway and went several miles into town. We then made a right, went a block or two and took a left and it was right there.
Oh ****, I'm thinking of Maybrook not Montgomery. A friend of mine that use to work at OCC took me to a place down on the water in Montgomery that was really nice. I think it was an Irish pub. There is another place that if you come out of OCC and take a left, it's on the right. Looks like an old WWII barracks. Another dump but I've gotten pretty sauced there also.
