well i was a goof a few weeks ago and took my cam cover off without knowing what was behind it. well when i took it off a cam came with it. a few weeks later and alot of help later its all back together. the reason i took itoff was because i wanted it black. because black is for bada$$'s duh. just wanted to put it here b/c i figured it would get more views and i would get more feedback onhow it looks and what i could do to make it look better.keep in mind this was all done on a very, very, very low budget. as in two cans ofbbq spray paint and my oven. i did manage to scratch a few places putting it all back togther but overall i am still very pleased.
Isn't it a great feeling when you go to change something and something happens that you didn't expect and you get all freaked out but you're finally able to put it back together in addition to making the change you wanted and when you start 'er up everything happens exactly the way it's supposed to?
Seriously.
That's how I felt when I had to change the battery in my wife's Jetta, and I'm pretty reasonably mechanically inclined.
Is it just me, or do German auto manufacturers try to see how much crap they can fit into the smallest possible space in a car?

Go change the alternator or A/C compressor. THEN you'll bein a really good mood. Damned Germans are taking it out on us because they lost the war. Don't even get me started on the wiring. Good thing they don't make bikes!

Are you serious about the bbq spray paint or just joking? If you were serious, how much would you charge to paint one of my pits? I sprayed mine last summer and it looked GREAT for all of about 3 bbq's. Then it started looking like faded out crap! I guess that's the difference between someone who knows what the hell they're doing and someone who's spraying with one hand and knocking back a cold one with the other!Nice job by the way. Bike looks good.

The cam JUST fell out? I swear to god that's what happened? really? it just fell out? very hard to fathom that an important part like that would JUST FALL out. But weirder things have happened, Like Clinton getting elected twice or worse yet two Bushs making it to the oval office.
