Euless also is new ownership but have noticed they don't hear you if you tell them your not buying a bike right now, seems to be a little over bearing and they keep pushing.

All of them just have the same problem, they don't know how i happen to be, if i see it, and i want it, I buy it, but only on my terms an not theirs.

Good luck...
If you bought it, you bought it on their terms. Just sayin...
Remember it takes two willing parties to complete a transaction.

Most dealerships around here (Southern Ohio) are pretty laid back and helpful. Although, I've heard that one is over charging unknowing customers on new bike sales. I try to spend money with the independent shops for parts when possible.

Maybe it is your boyish demeaner, Man up a little bit.

The dealer back in VA that I bought my Sporty from a few years back was awesome and I have no complaints about them. Here in TX I went to the two closest dealers to try and make a deal on my FXDB and the first was full of douchebags. The second was even more awesome than the dealer in VA, however, and that's who got my money.

I don't do the "hang out at the Harley dealer" thing so I can't really comment outside of the three dealers I've gone to for bike purchases, but I'm running 2 out of 3 on the positive and that's not too bad in my book.

Texoma HD in Sherman, HD Dallas in Allen, both great shops. I have been to shops from Horny Toad in Central Texas to Ft. Thunder and Harley World in OkC, always been treated well. I have run onto some individuals that obviously hadn't had any in a while, but I get that way myself at times.

In the last 4 months in my quest for a new scoot and subsequent purchase I've probably been in over 30 dealerships in 6 states (I travel a lot). I have not had one bad experience. The only bump is with "new" salesmen that need a little more experience (knowledge) of the complete spectrum of the motorcycles. The corporate plan and training is working IMO!

The dealership in Union City treated me like crap. I was inside walking around for 45 minutes before anyone even said 'Hello' to me. I'm an old scooter tramp with emphasis on the 'tramp' in my appearance, but that shouldn't have been any reason to not treat me better...as far as those azzhats could have known I might have been a millionaire slumming or something.

It made me figure the dealership in Jackson would be similar so I ended up getting my bike in another state 800+ miles away.

I did later find out though that the dealership in Jackson has great people working at it and I even got to be pretty good friends with the owner.

I've always had good experiences with the dealers in my area, although sometimes some salesman will get a little pushy trying to close a deal.
