I just bought my RK Custom at Patriot HD in VA, $800 below MSRP! Not a huge discount, but I remember in 1995 when you had to wait a couple of years for a bike and paid sometimes over MSRP forthe bike.

This is direct from the HD Canada website; The Competition Act requires Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada, to advise that the Retailer is under no obligation to accept the suggested retail prices, and may sell at any price he chooses. If he/she sells at prices other than the suggested prices, he/she will not suffer in any way his business relations with Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada. Prices are subject to change without notice. Retailer preparation and freight are extra.

Unless things are completely different Stateside,MSRP means "Manufacturer's SUGGESTED Retail Price". Sounds to me like your local dealer is full of it. [sm=bs.gif]
