I ride alone most times. I love running long distance at my own pace not having to constantly look in my rear view wondering what the hell is the #%*}%]>€ holdup. Wife rides 2up on occasion and I love her company. The one time I don't mind her back seat driving. I am constantly looking for partners to ride with but find myself disappointed for the most part.

I do virtually every day.
I ride with a couple friends now and then when we can.

Most of my riding is solo. I just prefer to follow my own schedule. My wife has been riding a little more with me this year, but she does have a 6th sense for when I just need to ride alone and recharge the batteries in my brain.

I have always done most of my riding by myself, with the exception of riding with my younger brother on an annual road trip for a few years when I lived up North. But we both owned the same model bike and enjoyed just riding any scenic rural road we could find. And I knew his skill level so I wasn't worried when riding side by side or switching off on lead. We brought another friend one year and with the third bike it became a lot more convoluted.

I would consider riding with someone on occasion but probably not a large group. At the moment I'm enjoying some two up with my daughter before she starts college in August, she loves the bike. I promised her a Harley when she gets her bachelors so I've a few years to save for that.

98% of my riding is solo/two-up, I like it that way. I can stop when I want and go when I want, no rush to get home!

Yea brother I'm with you on that. Me and my girl on the dresser and let the front wheel tell me where to go. If the road runs out I'll ask her left or right. Some of the best rides happen just like that. I tell ya what, it's summer again me and the springer will hit these back country roads and man let me tell ya.... Families doing the BBQ, kids playing in the fields, farmers working, blue skies, green trees, the wind in my face. Louis Armstrong got it right "What a wonderful wold" That's a solo thing, you can't get that in a group.

me and some classic tunes on "Classic Vinyl" on my XM Radio and 7 or 8 hours to ride is perfection… Or switch it up with me and the wife just crusing back county roads and a nice 45 MPH enjoying miles of country side alone. I have no desire,to ride in groups. to many douche bags I don't even go to the local bike nights- I like to be alone.

I ride alone almost 100% of the time. It all started on a trip from Detroit up to the Mackinaw Bridge that should have taken 4-5 hours and took all night form 8pm till after 9am. This was 30+ years ago. One guy ruined it for everyone else. He rode a bike that he put together a couple days before the trip and didn't test ride it. At least a dozen stops for crap like the tailights going out and stuff falling off his bike. I prefer to go at my own pace.

I never really thought about it until pack riding got so popular. Just like to cruise on my own- I'm kind of an introvert and value the time people aren't talking to me, calling on the phone, etc. I've enjoyed riding with one other bike some, but was never part of any larger group that rode motorcycles, so I've never even learned the rules of pack riding. I did enjoy a 300 mile bicycle ride with a large group across Colorado once, so maybe I should try a motorcycle group ride sometime.
