shifting in to neutral

2013 street glide with 300 mi. I'm having a hell of a time getting it in neutral when I stop. is there a break in period???. or do I need to take it in and have HD look at it.

Try changing tranny fluid. I'm not going to recommend one, but I'm sure someone will

Can't help with that, but I test rode 2 new Fatboy Lo's at 2 different dealers before I bought mine. The first I could not get it in neutral at all. The sales guy got on and it took him a while to get it. The second is the one I bought and it goes right in. Strange.

Try slipping it in while you are rolling. Just before stopping.

There is a trick to finding neutral. Combination of allowing the bike to be able to move while the neutral search is on. Clutch adjustment can sometimes help.

I can't say it will work on yours but on mine, if I shift into 1st while still rolling it will go right into neutral when it pick up on the shifter. If I miss it and go into 2nd as I stop I have a hard time finding neutral as well

Shifting it into N when rolling works pretty good.

If you are already stopped, blip the throttle and shift to N.

When I stop and want to shift to neutral, I kill it in gear, then shift it into into neutral with my hand. If I tried to do it with my foot, I'd be there for 5 min.
