Apparently Markymannn can't wash his liner. In those cases, Febreze works pretty well.

Like most others have said, I just leave mine on the peg or mirror. Those helmet locks aren't that expensive though and they are easy to mount. Another option might be a padlock, just run it through your D-ring if your helmet has one then lock it through one of the holes on your brake rotor or somewhere else on the bike.

Lone, I love the thing. The Bullitt is all I've been riding with since I got it. See my "Had to try me the Bell Bullitt" thread I just re-posted on for more info.

Yeah a 3/4 HJC it doesn't come out, although I'm probably due for a new one and Fathers Day is coming up. I like their's with the retractable sun shield

Yep.

It was a while ago: August 1993 to be exact.

Riding a 1984 Honda Nighthawk from MI to WA, wearing a full face, 3/4 strapped to back of the bike. Someone at Devil's Tower, WY decided they needed a helmet. Came back from a hike to the base of the tower & the 3/4 was gone (full face locked to bike)--they did leave the bungee net though.

Haven't lost one since. Now the helmet gets locked in the tourpak if I'm going to be away from the bike for a while.

I'm going to have to start carrying a gun lock that's a pretty good idea

+1 on the HELMETLOK-2. Way easy to use and can lock several helmets if you riding buddy doesn't have a lock. They also have a cable to lock your jacket.
