Default 2014 head light.

Last night I was riding in the mountains here in Colorado. Switch to high beam and it is not usable. It is not bight enough for safe riding. Is my bikes light not working correctly or do you feel the same?
Thanks for your input...

I switched to LED's on my 2012. The high beam was worthless. I complained to the tech while in for service. He said no problem and fixed it. I had it aimed to high. Adjust the aim down and you will be amazed. Also you can change it so that the side spots stay on even when you have the bright on.

It looks like you have a cvo. It's got everything in the catalog on it. The headlight probably needs adjustment.

My Ultra will blind you, have the lamps flashed to stay on.With the low beam on at night I can see peoples faces when passing them I kid you not.High beam shows alot of those critters you normally wouldn't see with stock candles.I do believe the Truk Lites are brighter than the HD,had them on my 2010 Ultra and 2013 Ultra loved them.

I'm thinking you guys are right.. Just got back from another night ride. Looks like even dim may benefit from adjusting it lower...

2014 SG with stock headlight. I haven't replaced it because it works fine. It's the brightest (on brights) stock headlight I've had on a new Harley. As for illuminating things down the road, it's on a par with the Trucklite version 6 I had on the previous bike.

I guarantee that you just need to lower your lamp.
