Default Maintenance

How often do you guys change fluids on your bike? Do you go by mileage, time,or both? I usually change all fluids every 5k or over the winter months. I currently have four bikes and due to work, family, etc I only got a combined total of about 3k between all four bikes this year. They are also always kept in a heated garage. I hate to go through the time and expense of changing oil in all these bikes when some have less than a thousand miles on their oil. What would you guys do? Btw I run red line in all three holes

Just go by what the owners manual or shop manual tells you to do.

It is as much a factor of time as it is mileage. 2500-3000 on the motor, 5000 on the primary and trans or 1 year, which ever comes first. You will get a bunch of different opinions on this, do whatever you are comfortable with though. Oil is cheap insurance and doing the engine at 2500 makes it easy as every other change I do all three holes...(ball placed on tee for someone to give it a ride)
