It's on your engine, on your frame downtubes and on your ownership. I hope they all match?

Wink

Every VIN on a modern vehicle has 17 characters. The number on your engine is the engine number, which is only a part of the VIN. The correct full number is probably on a plate stuck to your frame, along with details of H-D, it is also stamped into the frame, probably on the steering head.

A typical Harley VIN reads like this: 1HD1ELK12BZ123456
