So I’ve got my frame VIN sticker removed during sandblasting the frame. Now the bike can’t pass the inspection, because they require VIN sticker on the downtube, regardless of neck stamped VIN.
Before sandblasting I took few pictures of the sticker, I can get it made, but I need dimensions first.
It’s 2004 Softail, I know that stickers design has been changing over years, but you can see on attached picture what I need.
Could anybody give me width, length and top/bottom edge to perforation (marked red) dimensions of the sticker??
your sticker is not one piece? the one on this 02 just wraps around the tube. i do not think dmv will be a stickler on exactness as long as the require info is there.
PIA: from top of sticker edge (mfg by) the first line is 7/8"
from that line vehicle weight to next line is 1 1/16"
from that line vin and union crapola to end of sticker 1 9/16"
total is 3.500. ( apparantly i did not get to the end of sticker, used flash light this time.
