I’m looking to upgrade the rear shocks on my street glide. I’m torn between the progressive 944 or the legend revo. Anyone out there running either of these and if so how do you like them. Thanks for the information.
Haven’t run either. But from what I’ve heard the legends are a lot better than those progressives. I have ohlins but yeah
i can the rear I’m running the ohlins 357s. The ones with the remote reservoir. Honestly prob get a great ride even if you got a cheaper set at like 800
My last bike was an 09 Street Glide. I ran the stock air shocks for about 35k miles before I switched over to the Progressive 944's. There was a noticeable improvement in the ride. I felt it was money well spent.
I traded my bike in with about 60k on it, but put the stock shocks back on.
I was able to sell the 944's and recoup most of my money spent on them.
I have no experience with any of the other shocks.
I put the HD "premium hand adjustable" shocks on my air shock street glide an it was a nice improvement for what I spent. I got a steal of a deal on some 944's an put them on an on the small bumps an imperfections they the same as the hand adj but handle the big bumps a little better. I don't ride for hours at a time any longer so I don't think it's worth dropping 800 to a grand on high end shocks for my riding habits.

Other brands are available! I don't have an SG but also have Ohlins, front and rear, on my Glide. Do you ride solo or two-up? If the latter, then IMHO you should consider the better quality shocks, so your passenger can enjoy the ride too - they don't get as good an experience as the ride does. We have a sponsor who offers discount to members, so if interested call Howard at Motorcycle Metal.
I have the 944 on my evo pictured below and they ride great for the money spent. I test rode the Legend/Drag Specialties bike and the Revo's are fantastic, better than the 944 but that was on a '15 RG so it's hard to say was it the shock, frame, 50k miles less or a combo of these. As said, Ohlin will be even better, it's just about dollar value to you
