I am 5'6", and own a 2007 street bob. I purchased and mounted HD highway pegs, and wish that they sat an inch closer to me. Does anyone know of highway pegs that sit a bit closer to the rider? Has anyone used the adjustable highway pegs, would those brackets solve my problem?
It's funny, I am tall enough that the mid controls tire my legs out after a long ride, and short enough that the highway pegs are too much of a stretch.
If anyone could help I would appreciate any info you got.
From what you are describing I think the adjustable brackets will work for you. A bit pricey. You could try moving them down lower on the engine guard, but don't go down to close to interfere with your foot controls.
yea, I ended up purchasing the regular highway brackets, I am going to try and take them off and return them, hopefully they will take them back.
im hoping the adjustable works. oh, I noticed it's one bolt that attaches it to the bike, wonder if the bracket spins if too much pressure is placed on the peg?
