Hello - I'm a relatively new Harley owner - have an 06 Ultra Classic. I'm not overly mechanical, so, this will be a dumb question to most of you. Recently discovered that a prior owner had a tender put on the battery. I have regular chargers, but not a battery tender. I had a friend tell me different kinds have different connections. Below is what hangs out. So - can anyone tell me what I need to get? I tried looking through google and amazon, but I couldn't find a photo of a connection I could see. And....frankly, until this past weekend I had never heard of a battery tender.
Thanks!
In the pic is what I call the pigtail. One male and one female plug. When you buy the battery tender, it will plug right in. It'll keep your battery charged without burning it up.
That is a factory Harley Davidson battery tender plug installed at the factory, most all of the new bike have them. As stated above, get a battery tender junior, the plug will be a little less wide than the factory plug, but jut plug it in as it will work just fine.
Thank you all. I'll admit - I got a little confused with the one thread above thinking the pigtail is for heated clothing. I will look for a tender jr or plus (probably a plus). I assume local autozone will carry and is just as good as anyplace else to pick one up.
I really appreciate the input. Looking forward to riding again soon. Have some other things I might want to change. Came with a different horn but the parade fan is hooked on right now.

I picked up a Jr. at walmart this past weekend for the boys bike
