Over 30 posts about where to put a gas cap...
A gas cap holder...Good grief.
In over 50 years of riding I have never had an issue with where to put a gas cap.
Put it on your gloves, on the seat.
Done.

I gotta agree with this and in all the years of riding i've never lost a cap either.

I put mine between the saddle bag and the bike. With my gloves (gauntlet style [in response to a few posts above]) on top of the gas cap.
When the gloves go on, there is the gas cap.
It is now such a habit, I don't really think much abt it.

I will have to take a picture. Gloves (Leather, HD brand, normal dude length, size XXL) go between saddle bag and passenger seat or rear fender area, gas cap on top of gloves.

To you riders with clearly superior intellect who never lost yer gas cap.
You might now grasp that some of us old farts partied way harder than you, had way more fun, for a whole lot longer, and now have barely two braincells to rub together. We lose gas caps. Dont let it cause your shorts to get bunched.
