Yup. That’s the best way to pick up chicks at bike night! A little dab of 90 wt on the wrists and I’m golden.

BUT......what happens if you mistakenly set the gas cap on the pump instead using the "magnet mod"? I never worried about this problem, or how my gloves look, until this thread came along.....

Put the cap in the gas handle holder. Can't replace the nozzle on the pump with the cap there.

Place the gas cap with the magnets right on the numbers of the pump. It will keep it from moving. Free gas !

I set the cap on the pump but up side down. The part that goes into the tank facing up. Served me well for about 50 years.

A bit surprised we haven't seen a follow up thread regarding whether or not this works.

Dunno....I've always just held the cap in one hand and filled the bike. Never any issues, no issues to hold and pump. Been doing that for 10+ years......
