2013 Touring, slipping in 5th

Default 2013 Touring, slipping in 5th
2013 Road Glide Custom, stock transmission. In 5th gear , under moderate acceleration, rpms increase but very little power is generated. Revs go up but no power in 5th gear. Tranny has 28000 on it.

Is 5th gear or transmission going out? Transmission main bearing drive? Any advice?

Sounds like a slipping clutch. Recommend checking all clutch adjustments.

Had this problem with my wife’s 13 sg. Did a proper adjustment on the clutch and now noe problem.

Yes, check your clutch adjustment, starting with the clutch itself, not just the cable.

So tell us...did you check your clutch adjustments? Have you found the problem?

mine did that when I upgraded my Cam.. I switched out the Spring in the clutch basket to the SE Heavy Duty one... and that fixed it
