Default Electra-glo Light pod installation

I have an 06 Ultra Classic and would like to add a set of Electra-glo light pods. Does anyone have experience with installing these lights? Specifically, I am interested in where best to position the lights, how to route the wiring, and locating the control switch. Is this a do-it-yourself project or should I spring for the $100 to get the HD install? Thanks in advance for you help.

I personally like the pods under the gas tank on both sides and under both fender struts .The pods. can be installed to what ever modality you wish, either directly to the ignition or light ,s .Mine came with cpmplete instructions. The hardest part was deciding where to put them .Attach to the ignition wires and run down through (under console) the tank cover (leather pocket bag or other) and under seat straight down to the pods. They should have connectors on the ends to add more in line if you need more..The wires are totally invisible if you thread them right. Its really a snap .Look in your service manual for the right wires coming from the ignition or ask on this site.A guy named tcstd can help you with ANYHING you need .Guaranteed !!!c He has answered more questions for me in the past and can be very helpful ...Another location is up front by the downtubes. It will shine directly down to the front of the motor.

I have a 2013 Heritage and was told these pods were 'plug and play'. Where do you plug them in at?

They look ok but you can do it yourself for a whole lot cheaper. Buy the strips on Amazon in a roll. I use 3 m tape as an extra line of sticking power and wire a switch in the bike make it look factory that way. My total cost was less than 50 bucks.
