Electra glide fairing on a dyna
Hey just wondering if anyone has info on fitting an Electra glide fairing on a dyna...it was my late father's fairing from one of his older bikes and the paint scheme matches pretty good with my 01 dyna...I also would love to be able to ride around with a piece of my dad's bike on mine. TIA for any help

Sorry I don't have any useful info for you, but I will say that if you want to to do it, just find a way. I think it would be awesome if you pulled it off. Possibly start by looking at the Bagster sets. It's a kit that adds the fairing bags and trunk to a Sportster. Possibly something in the mounting system could be useful. The full kits are pretty pricey, but I wouldn't think the hardware would break the bank if it's available separately.

For those of us who don't know, would you care to explain why? What is it about the dyna front end that doesn't suit an Electra style fairing

Guy I'd lean more to a Road King windshield over a full fat bike fairing, my opinion mind but it would look kinda dick when said and done, wouldn't compliment the smaller frame. That narrow front & headlight will just look all wrong under it

The whole point is to have THAT fairing on the bike because it used to be on his dad's bike. I swear it's like people don't even bother to read a damn post before they try to **** all over someone's dream.
