I forgot the question mark.. Were they HD filters or some other one? In that case what was the operating pressure?
they were K&n filters, with all different models across virtually all bike manufacturers, work completely stock engines - including tons of street bikes just during track days. Its impossible to state the operating pressures because the failures occurred in v twins, inline triples and fours and single cylinder models. In other words, unfortunately its clear that it was NOT related to high oil pressure. It was absolutely a manufacturing quality issue. Specifically with K&n and ONLY K&n oil filters.
Two of my local racing orgs still ban K&N oil filters. The trackday org for which I am the head coach, as well as two other orgs I frequently ride with all ban K&N filters. Two tracks I run at, no matter who is running the TD ban K&N filters. The bans exist for a reason.

The filters in question have been gone for many years.
There was no reason for your Dick response, but after reading your other posts in this thread it is evident that the reason you came into the thread was to be a DICK, and spread BS.
