Tab Performance 3.5" vs Rinehardt 3.5"

Tab Performance 3.5" vs Rinehardt 3.5"
Have a line on a set of used slip on's for my 2018 Heritage classic. I checked out the Reinhardts, I found them to be loud. I was wondering how the tab performance 3.5" slip on's with medium baffles would compare sound wise? I'm thinking they probably sound basically the same since the baffle is just a straight through baffle. 6 of one, half dozen of the other.

If your Tab slip on is a straight thru it is a zombie baffle which is quite loud. You can get the Tab 2.5" louvered baffle which is quieter.
I would call Tab and see what they say. They have good tech support.

Installed the TAB Performance 3.5's today. They have the spiral medium 2.25" baffles....at first start up I found them kind of loud, went for a ride, highway speeds, around town etc. got used to them, their not as loud as I figured. (as long as I don't nail it leaving the house)

The Tab Performance 3.5" slip-ons with medium baffles will still be loud just a slightly tamer version of straight-through sound. If Reinhardts were too much for you, these might not be much different. Maybe look for something with a more restrictive baffle if you want a deeper, quieter tone. Otherwise, yeah six of one, half dozen of the other.
