I decided that today would be a good day to put a down-payment on a RoadKing Classic - so, off I went to M&S here in Chambersburg. I had a strange feeling that the bike might have been sold on Saturday, but, I went with my checkbook in-hand. Saw my friendly saleman, Mike, and, dang dang dang - a nice green tag states "HOLD". Well, I was very disappointed - Mike said he'd check his allotment and - hey, we have a coule more scheduled to come-in - when, I asked? June. YUK! Anyway, at this point, I am getting worried. Have I blown it? Got home - made a call to Battlefield HD (it gets better here) - salesguy "Seth" says, "None here, Ted. Let me check my computer." I begin biting my lip when he comes back and says, we might have one that just came in - still in the crate. YES - IT IS!!! Hooray - I plunked down a deposit via AMEX and I will be going over soon to tie the ribbons on the deal and go for accessories. Phew whatta day. Pictures will be forth coming in a coupla weeks - after some of this southcentral PA snow melts and I can bring her home.
Ted,
Congrats, brought mine home last week. I know the feeling. Now, How long are you gonna let her sit there in that crate freezing? Good God man, Get her a blanket!
Ted, what color?
