What do you consider low mileage? how many miles were on it?
What do you weigh
What air pressure were you running and did you keep good tabs on it?
Was it mostly highway mileage, or was there a lot of 'canyon carving' on it?
And yo aren't going to get a consensus here. Bunch of guys will say Metzeler, bunch will say Avon, and a bunch will say stock Dunlop. I've run all three on the same bike and I got the best mileage out of a set of Metzelers, but I'm talking a tour bike loaded fairly heavy with almost all highway miles on it.

Some twisties Thanks for your input. Larry
I never got more then 10k on my heritage (rear tire) and I get about 12k on the rear tire with the roadking. My front tire has 20k and still going. Are you riding two up a lot?

Just found out today that 2010 Harleys are coming with Michelin tires on them
I went to Michelin web site and they list tire for Harleys.
Harley may got a better deal and they are not as good but who knows.
I ride smooth and but favor the rear brake on my 03 RK. Got 7000Mi on 2 Metzeller rears with what I thought was premature center wear. Tryed a HD Dunlop this year and have 7500Mi so far this season and still at 50% tread. I dont see much difference in performance, the Metzeller might have a slight advantage in the wet. I think the Dunlop might go 10000Mi.

I also went to the Michelin website and there is a big news story about the first time ever that Michelin has co-logo stamped a tire. The tires are called Michelin Scorcher 31 and are OEM on 2010 Dyna SuperGlide Customs. They are part numbered 43250-07A and 43258-07A. Zonetti has the rear at $150, the front at $95.
Hope this helps.
