Hacked, Conversions and Trailering"Harley Sidecar, Conversion Trikes and Motorcycle Pull Behind Trailering Enthusiasts"
A forum for the discussion of your sidecar, Conversion Trike or Pull Behind Motorcycle Trailer.
Yes, I know this is a Harley forum but with the many negative reports on the new HD Trikes I started thinking about the Boom Trikes. I am seriously considering going to 3-wheels in order to keep my wife riding with me.
Does anyone have any input on these?
My 2nd choice would be to buy/build a custom trike but that would be more expensive and time consuming, commodities I am short of.
sorry flying hourse, we are not lookin to replace our HD Trikes, we are fixing them without any support from the moco. and yes we are gonna bit*h about it but we still love em.
What in the blue he!! is a Boom Trike? Icebite1 has said it all, If it's any better than our Harleys....we don't want to hear about it. We love to spend our spare time out in the garage trying to outwit Harley Davidson by seeing how much junk they put on that we can change out and still make it run....even better.
boom trikes look like a pile of w*nk. whoever thought it would be a good idea to put a ducati superbike headlight fairing on a custom styled trike needs a slap
Naw...I don't care for it, but hey we're all different. If not a Harley I still think the best platform would be the Goldwing..I would like to test ride a Victory Crossbow, and a Venture trike ( both have floorboards)..

2 things about the Crossbow kind of turn me off. The 1st is it looks funky and the 2nd is Lehman is installing the trike kit. After finding loose fasteners and mismatched paint on my dads Triglide I have to question their quality control.
