Hacked, Conversions and Trailering"Harley Sidecar, Conversion Trikes and Motorcycle Pull Behind Trailering Enthusiasts"
A forum for the discussion of your sidecar, Conversion Trike or Pull Behind Motorcycle Trailer.
After running it for about 5 years, I'll be removing the sidecar this week. While it was fun and the family enjoyed it, I miss riding on two wheels. Most of my rides are solo and now that I'm in Hawaii, I don't care to deal with finding a parking space wide enough.
Gonna tear into it this Thursday. Also will have to swap the triple trees back to stock. Not too hard of a job, just time consuming.
It's removed. Went ahead and changed the fluids and checking all bolts for tightness. Tomorrow I'll swap the trees. It's torn down ready for that but I decided to call it a night early.
It's the first time in five years that the bike has been on the kickstand. Looks good!
Anyone else go back to two wheels after running on three?
Its a Sad day. Guess we wont be seeing you around here any more. LOL. Its nice to have both if yea can . A hack can be fun turn a lot of heads. But aint nothing like two wheels.
I'm leaving mine on. I thought about taking it off, but I'm going to wait until some major problem dictates it. Then I might ride for a while without it.
I know what you mean about missing riding without it. I've been looking aroud for another bike to ride when the two wheel urge hits me!
