So the damn Center Stand that HD says will fit the Street Rod doesn't. Its too short, I guess the street models are shorter. I'm batting 1000 today I guess.

Maybe I am missing something, but if you were looking for something that would fit the Street Rod, and it doesn't, why would the stand be too short if the street models are shorter.
From this, I am getting that the stand is short, but the Streets rest lower to the ground, so what is the issue? One needs to be longer or higher up in order for there to be a problem, or am I picturing this wrong in my head?

Could someone please help me understand this?
What HD has done is market a center stand for the Street Rod that was designed for the Street. The height difference of the Street Rod makes the center stand useless, imagine being 6' tall with a 34" inseam and trying on a pair of blue jeans that are a 30" inseam.
