I was looking at my sensor data after I had run a good auto tune session the other day and noticed that the AFR is at 21.2 at idle . Can someone explain to me exactly whats going on here . I have been trying to get through V&H for awhile with no luck , so I though I would try here as well .
Ok , so I just got off the phone with V&H and I was told that it was nothing to worry about . It appears the older 4 pin set-up does have that " flaw " , as long as the AFR's in the table are showing accurately , I am good to go .
really? well if it's a flaw then fair enough, hopefully they will fix whatever it is?
Where were you reading AFR? I see "Target AFR" in the view sensor data but give or take a little AE DE or PE shouldn't be that far away from the AFR table for that map (14.4 for the 2010 Touring) especially when you are talking about at idle
I agree , The guy I spoke to said he noticed that happening while one of their bike's were on the dyno . This morning , I fired up the bike while I had my sensor data on , showing the AFR screen and for the first 10 seconds or so , it read about 14 give or take , then the needle just jumped to the far right , up to 21.2 again . I went for a ride and the bike runs perfect , no popping and tons of power , so no worries . Not sure if there will be a fix for it in the future , but I was told it was nothing to worry about .
