What bike and year? My work around with the stock ecm is to engage the abs numerous times behind my house. I live on 5 acres and have a large flat area of hard compacted dirt, decomposed granite, and go 20~25mph and brake numerous times front and rear. Three times pumping the brakes as fast as possible for both front and rear. Three more times holding the pedal/lever for both front and rear. The abs is engaged for about ~4 secs at ~25mph each time. I basically simulate what the abs tool does.

The Digital Technician communicates directly with the ABS module and pulses the ABS at different intervals. Check with your local dealership to see if they can do it.
