2001 fatboy will not start

Hey all, I bought this 2001 fatboy that has been sitting indoors for 12 yrs, came up to MN from AZ the bike appears to have been properly stored as far as no varnish smell or look in the tanks, oil tank and primary both empty and the cross over fuel line for the gas tanks was disconnected. I have put fresh gas and oil in checked the plugs (which were like new). Regapped plugs. This bike only has 4515 for miles by the way. Just had battery tested and it came back as good, I’m kind of on the fence with that as the guy said the battery was at least 10 yrs old, so everything I’ve done I think the bike should start but it will not! Anyone have any ideas??

10yr old battery from Az., Yikes! Does it turn over? Fuel injection or Carb?

yeah it turns over, has spark and is fuel injected. She’s getting gas, pulled plug after trying and it was wet from gas. Was thinking maybe shes not getting enough gas so am going to give it a shot of starter fluid to see if she will fire.

not sure about the compression, no way of checking ATM. Something I’ll have to look into.

If it cranks strong and has fuel and spark, make sure the plug wires are on the correct plug. If unsure, just swap them at the coil. If in the state it is in it starts with a little shot of starting fluid, that tells you the whole story there.

I had a 2001 RK with FI. Had it in to a Dealer & Local Shop. None of them could fix it. I was finally told that the FI System in the bike was only used in 2001 & 2002, and parts were no longer available.
