‘08 Dyna.. Not starting at all

‘08 Dyna.. Not starting at all

Normally I ride well into winter but not this year so it sat from bout late October to now. Got new battery in, new levers, new grips… and absolutely nothing. No whine of the fuel pump, no cocking like a dead battery would indicate.., silence.

Lights on, speaker works as good as always… but it will not start.

ideas?

check the BAS, make sure its in neutral, check all fuses, check for 12V on the blue with grey wire going to system relay.

new 40amp and system relay fuses. 40 needed replacement and now fuel pump whines at start. But still no fire… tried the BAS reset and so far still nothing

check for spark, but with a spare plug, as the plugs must be in the bike for it to spark

I replaced them last season but I’ll do another swap… I feel it has to be something simple

don't replace them, just see if they sparking

So... its working but had to take it into the shop. Found out some corrosion around fuse box might of been the issue. But now that it runs, it seems I can only start it in neutral and that shifting into neutral is hard unless its off or I'm in the friction zone from 1 to 2.

So guessing needs new oil and check the cable adjustment (its a Burly Brand after the install of mini apes and risers.... so... we'll see once I get a chance to drain and refill.
