Error code Pv4 in CA
I've had an aftermarket cam and exhaust recently installed, and canister and vacuum line removed on my CA model bike. Power Vision 4 or pv4 is showing code P0444/P445 (Purge Solenoid -evap canister) with either stock stk tune, or with a Fuel moto tune.
Dynojet says it's a mechanical issue, bring it to shop. Shop says ignore engine light if bike runs well (or re-install bike to stock). I understand its a CA specific issue, but what should I do to get rid of codes? thanks for any feedback.

ok, diagnostic codes are messages to you from the ECM(or whatever other control unit) that it doesn't lile something going on in relation to that circuit. there are several things that can cause the ecm to not like the info that it sees. it could be a wiring issue, a sensor issue or a mechanical issue. get the Factory Service manual and diagnose the cause of what is makeing the ecm throw the code. make that repair.

thanks that could be the solution to help with that!!. However since some parts were removed from the shop, I have no idea where its located and there is no video on YouTube.

If the shop removed it, return the bike to the shop and have them reinstall the purge system as it's not going to help or hurt the performance of the motorcycle.

i was able to reconnect the purge system myself and finally got rid of those codes. I cant tell if there is a difference on performance.
