My new dealer has been outstanding to me in regards to the CVO injector bulletin. The original dealer's fix was to increase the idle speed, which did nothing, and recommend a SERT w/ dyno time to get my stock bike "just right"!!! The new dealer has given me no crap at all, but now I'm horseless and we're expecting our first stretch of nice weather coming up towards the end of the week. It's been in almost a week waiting on the injectors to arrive.
I don't fault the dealer at all because it's not under their control, but it's killing me that I won't be able to do anything but listen to the rumble of all the other bikes going down the road this weekend. They said this week wasn't looking good, but MAYBE next week. Is anyone else having trouble getting the new injectors? I'm curious because the ETA on getting the bike back went from a few days, to this week, to next week. I hope it isn't a trend. Sounds like maybe there has been a rush on them that the MOCO wasn't prepared for and now we play the waiting game.
Well think about how many bikes out there are needing these, now the demand is on and all the dealers are ordering them. Luckily my dealer had ordered 6 injectors and had in stock.
That's what I was afraid of. Although there should be a supply in the pipeline since all bikes made from 2/13-on are getting these. Of course, the production line is gonna have first crack at whatever supply is available. I'm just wondering what kind of order times others are getting right now. After saving for 7 years to throw down $20K in cash for this bike, I'm obviously depressed that since I finally made the purchase, I can't enjoy it! With my luck, the new injectors will arrive right about when the next snowstorm comes through! [sm=bangbang.gif]
Mine took 8 days for the dealer to get them. They received them last Thursday and installed them today. I rode it 70 miles today after I picked it up and it seems to run fine. Hopefully it will fix my cold start problem. I will find out tomorrow after I get home from work.

That's good news... I may still get mine back this week if the 8-day rule holds true for me! That's reasonable, I'm just having nightmares about months of backorders like what's happening w/ the new SERTs.
Keep us posted if the injectors solve your problems.
My dealer ordered mine on March 2nd and said it would probably be 6 work days before they got them in. That would mean that March 10th they should get them. I'm not holding my breath on that though. The thing that makes it rough is that I've got parts just sitting at home that I ordered for the bike and I can't even put them on because the bike is at the dealers until the injectors are replaced. PowerCobra98, I feel your pain! I've got a room full o' parts too, but I wanted to get my 1K miles in before I did any performance mods. 6-8 days seems to be the common time frame, so maybe I'll luck out and be riding all day SAT when they're talking 60's and sun! Not counting on it, but I suppose it could happen. Maybe I'll order some more chrome to pass the time??? [sm=bling.gif]
