Whats the problem: My check engine light comes on when I turn my ignition switch on, it stays
on for approx. 4 sec. goes off then I start the bike, after the bike has run for 5 to 10 sec.
the check engine light will come back on and stay on for approx. 5 to 10 sec. then go off
and not come back on while I'm riding. The bike runs fine.
I've taken it back to the dealer 3 or 4 time now and they have reset the computor to delete
this code. They tell me it's a false code. I can go for quite a while without this problem once
they reset my computor, but in time the problem will return.
Has any one else run across this type of problem, what would cause the check engine light to
come on, it does not flash, like you would be getting a trouble code. Bike is fuel injected, 03 softail standard, Vance and Hines big radius pipes, dealer download, Kuryakyn
Hypercharger. Thanks for any information on this problem.
