yeah tooooooooo bad it's not a H.D. .............lmfao ..........custom bike built by hand .........come on has anyone ever bought a battery before thats not a stock HD battery ?
I'm sure HD is not the BEST battery there is ................ oh it must be it says HD on it ............lol
No... it's because HD batteries are made by (DEKA) East Penn Mfg... to a higher standard than their "Normal" production batteries....
More than likely, you will need to use a cross reference chart to compare your old batt to an upgrade, or take yours into the local dealer to compare size, capacity and post location...
Actually, it is because HD stock batteries are Absorbed Glass Mat design, the newest technology in motorcycle batteries, just a notch below the newest wound-coil designs which aren't available for motorcycles, as far as I know. AGM doesn't leak lead-acid, barely degasses (flammable H2), charges faster and lasts longer. You want a stock HD battery.
