Is your EITMS selected on using the Harley way ? Meaning.... if you roll the throttle clockwise till it dont go anymore - the Cruise light symbol will light up on the Speedo gauge.. if its green then its activated.. if its Amber color, then its off.. if you hold it there it will change from current selection to on (green) or off (amber).. I dont know if the PV overrides the stock EITMS setting if selected via the throttle way.... if u can let me know or anyone else, would be great to post...
When the EITMS kicks in, you will feel a different shake of the motor and sound like a putt-putt .. like air is pushing... if you blip the throttle when in EITMS, it feels like engine will cut off or stumble - this activates the cylinder again to allow fuel to flow to it.. if u wait a few seconds and engine is still hot, it will kick into EITMS again..... i dont blip it anymore when in EITMS like my 2008 when i start off.. i release clutch and then throttle.. it seems to be smoother and no enging stumble anymore.. my bike is still all stock.. i had issue with 2008 when i had PCV and EITMS would kick in.. it would stall and puff of smoke out of AC.. Jamie sent a new map and then all was ok...
hope this helps a little.. i dont know how many post the EITMS never kicks in with a tuner and upgraded Exhaust.. mine always did and i dont live in 100 degree weather.. im lucky if we get to 80's.. but its humid here for 2 months.. thats how long our summer is...
ride safe...
I do agree with you about DJ needing to develop a how to tune your bike from scratch instructions similar to TTS. Any progress on that front?

The dilemma is that the bike is working great and it does not seem like anything needs fixed. What am I missing? Have there been improvements with the 2011s that make them better than prior model year bikes? I am perplexed. I would love to have a PV but getting one just to adjust the speedometer seems extreme.
I am looking for feedback. Thanks.
PV would be a good choice too, and if you chose that tuner you would still have a good tune installed for your bike, just as you would with a PCV. The difference is price ($200 or more), and the PV will give you a useful module that can be mounted on the bike to provide useful data like engine temp, MPG (avg. and instant), fuel-used, and many more.
Call Fuel Moto and ask for advice, as they won't oversell you.
