They should show how to get the altered tune from the ecm so you can learn from it and make more changes.
Just go to "get copy of current tune", save it to an empty slot, and you'll have the altered tune from quick tune. Load it in WinPV and you can look at the changes.

Thanks..I did figure it out and altered a richer and leaner tune with new info and went for test ride and logging session.
I bought the PV 1.5 years ago, back when AT didn't exist. We were ol skool pioneers working with outdated LT - . The last 2-3 tunes that I did, was when AT had just been introduced. I tried it a couple of times and went back to the LT. Anyways I got my bike tuned to my satisfaction and walked away from the PV until recently. I wanted to start working with my spark tables. I understand the AT and how to use it but wanted to know what's new with PV since I quit reading this monster of a thread. I have caught back up with the last 1000 posts but I don't see that much has changed. My biggest complaint with the introduction of AT was that the green map screen could only be entered if you were in AT mode. I like to know how many hits and where I am at in the map when I am performing regular log runs. Has this been added back to the PV yet? Also someone on here mentioned that LT was now built into WinPV, but I don't see that in the latest version. Is this the case?

Well I have been in contact with DynoJet about adding the hit screen back to the PV for pure DataLogging without having to use the Auto Tune feature. It seems like they do not understand "why" we would want to do that? If anybody wants to further the cause in getting this returned drop them a note, pvtech@dynojet.com

It would be nice but I ran up against the same wall. It doesn't seem like they want to hear it. So much for taking into consideration the wants of the end user.
If you set up the screen with RPM and TP or RPM and MAP it's still pretty easy to accomplish the same as looking at the green screen. It's just a little guesswork wondering if you have enough hits, but still doable.
I'm sure this has been covered but what determines when "Reset Learned Fuel Trims" should be done. Also, is it a good idea to "Export Learned" after every tuning ride. I've been doing this after most rides and am not sure I'm getting the best results. Typically I auto tune from say slot 1 on the PV. I then export learned to slot 1 after the tuning run. Is it necessary to re-flash this tune before making another auto tune run or can I just start again from the tune I just exported.
Thanks for any help.

If you don't reflash the new revised tune you'll just be autotuning the same tune over again.
I've only run 3 autotune sessions and I'm already within the 1-2% delta on the main part of my VE tables. I guess my mods are pretty mild. Just need to rework the upper RPM's one more time. I first started using the PV back in Fall of 2011 on my Sportster. Had to dial in the VE's manually back then using MegaLogViewer HD. This is so much easier, nice to see all the advancements in the firmware since then.
