In the directions for the head pipe, it says to heat cycle the head pipe 3-4 times. This is keeping the bike on the kick stand, ideling. it says not to rev it up or anything. And also said to do it for five minutes and making sure bike is cooled down before doing it again.
As soon as i started it, i bet within the first minute she would start to glow.
This might be apples to oranges but all the new generation of the 4 stroke motocross bikes have ss head pipes and they glow red fairly quick. You won't notice unless in low light. I don't how temperatures compare but they are all liquid cooled and are high tech machines.
Uploaded the canned tune from dynojet. ran it for about a day and a half. really no complaints per se from the tune. bike ran pretty good with it but wanted to take advantage of the system that i bought. So yesterday i decided to run auto tune. keep in mind i have only done 1 auto tune session that lasted about an hour. Didnt want to do a 20 minute session so took the advice of others on here and what they said and ran an hour which was stop and go traffic, highway, and sprited riding. uploaded the tune, and away i went. wanted to give each tune a chance to prove itself to me and just didnt want to upload a tune, then auto tune back to back. It takes alot to notice a difference and i could def tell a difference. Bike got a little smoother, and i have almost zero decel pop. I took the PV2 into the house and tried to view the logs but i wont lie i have no idea what the hell i am even looking at. Going to do the second auto tune today and probably the 3rd tomorrow.
Set up the PV on the new bike, just watching "gauges" for now (want to get the 1K done and order the FM stage 1 stuff...). Noticed that one of the elements I always displayed (barometric pressure) is not showing a value. I'm wondering if the Wethead is using a MAP or MAF sensor.... I believe the '12 FLHX was MAP.... (away from home and the service manual this weekend)..
Can I copy my VE tables and spark timing from my SEPRT which was recently dyno'd due to no one in my area knowing how to tune with the powervision onto my Powervision canned map from FM for 107 build and then flash my ECM with the powervision ?

I'll say maybe, If you can hook up your PV to the bike and load a copy of current tune into the PV, then yes you can do whatever you want with it on your computer in Win PV. "IF"" the dyno'd tune is not locked. That's a big if.
saved file results from the first auto tune session? Yes..... If your hit count is on 5 not seeing any advantage to 1 hour run.
I believe that 5 is the default minimum in the VE section to effect a change to the new computed value. It maxes out at 99 hits. The more hits the more accurate the new computed value.
I chose to do my autotunes in sections:
Idle and low take off speeds from a stop
Low Load and rpms < 3000 (Usually no more then 30 minutes)
High Load and rpms < 3500 (Usually no more then 30 minutes)
1 hour rides concentrating on upper rpms under various loads

thank you for your reply.. I wait to see for more comments.. Jamie -- I hope you can help.. I did purchase my PV from you.
the canned map from my 107 Hillside build just seems not running right after my dyno.
