Power Vision Information Thread
I ran this table over the weekend. 50/50 highway and city. Had 210 miles clocked before I filled up again. Averaged around 43 MPG.
95 degree temps and the bike ran around 259 on the highway and 265 to 275 in town.
If you don't like the dynojet manuals, this will make things easier for you. Discoveries are made by mistakes......don't be afraid to experiment.
In step 3 of the document, this is the process I use:
From the main screen select Datalog/Gauges. At the lower right corner of the screen I believe it has the option to "Datalog" or "Start Log", select this. When you are done and before you shut the bike off, select End Log or Stop Log (I'm on vacation and am going from memory). This will generate a .csv log file without any of the adjustments that autotune applies. The code of 319245 that is mentioned in this step will bring up the autotune screen.
If you want a log of the autotune process just select start log from the autotune green screen.
Again this file is for info purposes. Read it from beginning to end, and then use it at your own risk.
Reading thru this thread, it looks like a lot of folks are getting into tuning their own bikes. I really enjoy the DIY aspect of the PV. Keep up the good work.
After reading some of the questions about Autotune, I happened across this video done by Carl at DynoJet. It is a pretty simple explanation of the autotune process. Hopefully this could help Check it out here:

I done 3 AT runs on the stock OEM. Ve's are looking alot better.
Just so you know I am tryin to setup a torque based tune. I am running a K&N 3930 intake & filter with a stock catless headpipe and American Custom bombers with 1/4 inch washer Lollipops front of the mufflers. makes great Torque and pulls very good to 6k if I need it to. What would be a good open Lambda number for the Cruise area on the fuel Table for this type of setup?

I have added Lollipops to the front of the muffles, turn flat(90degree) against the flow, which will add some resistance the exhaust will make more low-end torque than a free-flowing system. My Ve's are tune with this setup.
so I called it my torque based tune. Later I will set the lollipops at a 45 degree angle to flow. and re-tune and again at 0 degree. than I plan to have all 3 dyno'ed to see. I hope that explain ok.

Thanks Guys!
Cheers!
For me, and numbers of others, both DynoJet and FuelMoto have been very responsive when I've had questions that were not answered on the forum... just my experience.
During your decision process to purchase and try the PV, your reasoning was considered, logical, and rational--there was something there that motivated you to study more about this tool and then to take ownership. That could not have been faulty reasoning on your part.
Good Luck.

Beside the PV not booting all the time, what are the other issues you had with the unit?
Your post is with value as it appears that Dynojet was apparently at a total loss to resolve the problems you encountered. Which, naturally, one would irritably exclaim " I would not recommend the PV to any one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!."
To some the cost is minimal, whereas to others it's a costly investment!
Thanks for the post.
I had similar problems when I got my PV. I was told that I had the power/info cord routed incorrectly. I did all I could in moving it, even just had it run on top of the tank. Sent it back to Dynojet and got a different one, still same thing, with gauges on screen, it would freeze up. Well, I put it in a box a figured I wasted some money. This year I decided to down load the auto tune feature (didn't come that way), and tried doing the auto tune. I basically just left it on the bike at all times and when I had the chance did the AT. I don't know (will have to check) if the gauges still freeze up since I don' t bother using it for that on my glide, but I have made progress on using the PV for AT and logging then adjusting on home computer. Don't know why there was problem, Dynojet and Jamie@fuelmoto were at a loss. The board here was not helpful since not very many people have this issue and I suspect that those that do have this problem just give up. I say put it on your bike, run some AT, just keep trying before throwing it in the garbage.
