Yes it will. You need an unlock code and a new cable as the 14s are CAN

Thanks, I had some people say it would and others ay it wouldn't. I would hate to spend $500 all over again for another Powervision. The unlock code makes it comperable in price to other options

Only thing that distinguishes a PV-1 from a PV-2 is the cable. Nothing else

It looks like the cable is $24.95 and the license is $199.00 from Dynojet.

That's what I did. Bought the PV originally from FM for my 2012. When I traded it on the 2014, I got the cable and license from FM. You will have to get the cable first, as you have to hook the PV to the new bike so it can read some info off of the ECM. You then send that info to FM and they send you the license.

Thanks, I was wondering how the whole procedure actually worked.

The way I understand it: if you look at the VE tables, you see that they are a matrix of RPM and throttle position. The intent of Autotune is to get readings in as many of those cells as possible. Autotune then generates new VE values based on its readings via the O2 sensors. Distance isn't really the issue, it's how many cells are evaluated.

So, the purpose of an Autotune ride is to try and populate as many cells as possible with data. Riding at a constant RPM and throttle load on the freeway won't do it. I try to pick a starting RPM and roll the throttle slowly from closed to wide open, then back down down. Riding normally through a route with several gear changes will get a lot of cells but it may be necessary to aim for some RPM/throttle combinations. if you have the PV mounted on the bars you can bring up the Log screen and see which cells have been hit.

I try to make sure I get extensive readings on the cells in the 1500-3500 area. Realistically I don't spend a lot of time below or above those areas. At 70 in 6th gear I'm just under 3000 RPM, so I want the area around 2500-3300 to be fully populated with correct VE's since that's where the bike spends a lot of time running.

NOTE: This will wipe out any maps and logs on the device so use your noggin and back up your stuff to your computer BEFORE you do this.

Follow the link below to download a recovery file and save it to a local drive on your computer:

http://dynojetpowervision.com/Downlo...B-0.0.9.11.pvr

Install the above recovery file to your Power Vision by following these steps:

1. While holding the “power button” down on the face of your Power Vision plug in the Power Vision via USB to your computer
2. You should notice that the screen of the Power Vision has many colored bars and says, “Recovery Mode”
3. Launch the Power Vision Update Client
4. Highlight “PV Firmware”
5. Select “Update from Local File”
6. Select “PV Recovery”
7. Point to the file you downloaded from above
8. Finish the installation of the recovery and then proceed to update the firmware and tune database
Thanks Ultra!!

My PV locked up this weekend. No communication with either the ECU or my PC. I thought I was going to have to send it back to Fuel Moto, but remembered seeing your post and went back and found it.

The recovery procedure fixed my problems. It was very timely and saved me a lot of trouble.

Great info...thank you Sir!
