Then use LT to work out the knocks ( if any) You've seen the results AT can do compared to a Dyno Tuned motor. Trust the software to do it's thing.( Just tryin to help )
A 30 tooth sprocket won't change anything. The engine is just a big air pump. But I agree, the software is proven to work. Trust it, or toss it on the bench and never use it again. Second guessing things will never yield positive results. These Fisher Price tuners do a good job tuning up the areas most ride in. There are those who build hypo bikes and are smart enough to have a pro tune all the areas they get in to. But for, probably, 90% of those riding a Harley, these tuners do a good enough job to keep them safe in the table areas they ride. If someone is constantly banging the rev limiter and run full WOT these tuners don't make sense. Too much money invested in hypo parts and labor to think a closed loop only tune is safe. Those that have invested the cash know this.

I won't beat a dead horse with anyone in this forum. Everyone should already know the limitations of tuning ONLY the closed loop areas. If they don't, they should leave the tuning part alone and let a pro do it.

If it's sensors, change them. If it's a reversion problem, live with it. Or manually adjust the VE's and run open loop in that area. If it's the PV not functioning, send it back to the vendor for testing.

i don't think you're getting your head around all this tuning stuff, which is why I recommended starting from scratch. But, if you have it all figured out there's not much more we can help you with. Best of luck. I hope you get if squared away. These are only machines and there's usually an answer to be found if approached with an open mind and a willingness to learn.

I won't break your ***** anymore. Best of luck!
Yeah, thanks for the expert advice, chief. I think I can handle it from here. Somehow I used to fix airliners for a living.

Yea,I was just trying to help. My thought process was that with a lower gear ratio you'll be winding up the RPM's more quickly with lower MAP intake pressures. Less load on the motor, less fuel needed...?
I'm no expert, That's for sure. But I've learned a lot from this forum, FM,DJ and I'm very pleased with my tune. And if I can do it, Anyone can.like I've said before I ain't the smartest kid in the class.I'll say it again Red, Follow through with the process, At this point it's the only thing you haven't tried.

I have more than one map in my PV but how do I know which map I'm currently running? I like the tune that's why I want to know which one is selected. Thanks

I might not have made it apparent before, but when I first got the PV I did follow through with "the process." I've actually started from scratch and done the process several times now. Same results every time. You may want to claim that the PV knows what it's doing, but what that results in is basically reverting to the stock tune. I might as well just load up my HD factory stock VE tables, because that's what the AT sessions lead back to. Even though I have the heavy breather and Supertrapp exhaust. Regardless of what some may claim on the internet without any backup and with a holier than thou attitude, my setup flows significantly more air through the "pump" than the highly restrictive factory intake and exhaust. Everyone knows this. It's significant. That's why Dynojet's "stock improved" Dyna tune has VE numbers much higher than stock. Yet you expect me to trust the PV when it takes me back to the same table that the stock bike came with. If you don't understand how ****ed that is, then I don't need any more advice from you. Thanks though.

I have been out of the loop for a while but you should be able to pull a copy of your current tune. then dump it on your computer. thats why I keep copies on the computer and overwrite anything on the PV. Once I get things straightened out I put the tunes I want to keep on the PV. I keep a richer city tune...and if I know I'll be on the freeway for 600 miles I flash a closed loop tune to save a nickel on gas.

I am on page 341 out of 600+ so ive got a ways to go. Lol But I am stil, going to read every page to better understqnd the PV.

Quick question... I have an autotune run that I flashed to the ecm.. actually, my 6th autotune run. I am still getting so e decel pop so I have read on here to add fuel on thr decel. Can I just pull up quicktune, add some fuel on decel and flash the ecm or when I flash the ecem, will it over ride my autotune tune that I am currently running? Does that make sense? Im wondering if flashing a quicktune edit adds or takes away from the current tune on the ecem or does it over ride it completely?

Hey Red
I use a K&N hi flow intake & filter and gutted my cat and American custom modded stock muffler.
And my VE's went up a little, Than I added two, 1/4 washers on a post just in front of the Mufflers to add Some back pressure. I can stay this MY low end has increase a lot and my Ve's drop a little .
Do you run disc's on the superstrapps if so You most likey are losing Flow through them,
How many discs you using?

So does this tune make your bike run like ****?
MY Power vision even tho my Ve's drop my Bike Pulls hard off the stop sign and runs way better than my FM tune or Stock one did.

I still get 47.5 MPG And I am running 13.8 open cruise area on my fuel map.
