If you have Target Tune installed you will use the Target Tune-Auto Tune application which uses the wideband sensors, this allows you to generate VE corrections over the entire operating range to the same AF commanded in the TT-enabled calibration supplied. We are working on an enhanced instructional video for using the Auto Tune Basic, Pro, & Target Tune that should be ready in the next week or so, the info below is from the Dynojet User Guide may be helpful as well http://www.powercommander.com/downlo..._operation.pdf

"Once the (Target Tune enabled) tune is flashed to the ECM, you should run a couple AutoTune Target Tune sessions to dial in the tune that was flashed.
When you run the AutoTune session, be sure to select the Target Tune from the custom slot on the Power Vision. If you are running
additional AutoTune sessions, be sure to select the resulting tune from the previous session. Next, be certain to select the correct
AutoTune option, Dynojet Target Tune Wideband Kit. The AutoTune process adjusts the VE tables in the tune."

I am going to put it on another bike to use in gauge mode and see if it does it on a different bike. There is a possibility it is something on my bike causing this but since I didn't have this issue before this unit was on my bike I don't think it is the bike. I am using the newer power cable that is shielded.
If you have not yet done so I would try a full recovery on the PV device using the procedure outlined in the link below. **Important Note** you will need to save all of the files on your device as they will be wiped clean, and when finished run the PV Update Client and re-install the latest firmware.

Instructions can be found here: https://university.fuelmotousa.com/h...-Full-Recovery).

Just went back and reread the Target Tune ad. Not sure what they are selling.
If I understand it correctly, first you get the bike tuned using their autotune feature.
Once the bike is completely tuned then remove the OEM O2 sensors and weld bungs into the exhaust.
Then run the bike with Target Tune (and its sensors) to accomplish what? Correct tuning issues (mistakes?) from the autotune results?
Why would someone take a great running bike from autotuning and remove perfectly good high speed O2 sensors and replace the sensors with slower reacting sensors?
Please help me understand what I am missing here. Is this a product developed to fill a need that doesn't exist?

Target tune allows the bike to run in closed loop through wide band O2 sensors all the time. Factory narrow band sensors can only read a small range. When you target tune you need to get a map with the changes made to make it compatible the wideband O2's. If you already have PV you would send your current map in to fuel Moto (or dynojet) and they will convert that map to be compatible. Once you have the TT compatible map flashed to the ECM (and TT installed) you do a few auto tune runs (in target tune mode- basic is no longer useable) and this will fine tune your VE's. After the auto tune runs, flash the final map into the bike and ride.

All post about 2007 all Harley's run in closed loop almost everywhere except when accelerated hard. Then it goes to a richer AFR setting as dictated by the AFR target table.
With ANY system the VEs MUST be calibrated (tuned) or expected results will/can not occur.
The thing is...when the VEs are correct any changes to AFR targets provide reliable results.

Thank you for your suggestion but wouldn't think the folks would do this at dynojet when they had so long? First we are putting it on another bike and see what happens and if it still blanks out your suggestion will be next. Thank you for responding. I run your 2:1:2 headpipe on my bike.

Had one doing this on a customers bike, he added some head cooling fans and had them wired up to the accessory switch. The problem went away when wewired them direct.

I also had the same issue when I installed the Love Jugs Mighty Mites fans to replace my Wards fans. The Wards fans were directly hard wired to the battery and I had NO previous problems with the gauges. However, when I installed the Mighty Mites, the option to plug them into the accessories circuit was such a clean installation, that is how I initially wire them. After 3 days of gauge values blanking out after just a few minutes, I isolated the issue by riding about 10 miles with the fans OFF and - No problem with the gauge values!! Then I just cut of the plug that I used to plug to the accessories outlet and hard wired them directly to the battery. I also called Dynojet and Fuel Moto (Jamie) and advised of my problem/solution as an FYI.

Problem solved!!!!

hey guys on the power vision, whats the parameters I should enter in the gauges section, like front AFR rear AFR WBO2 F, WBO2 R, ET <F> IAT <F> MAP<KPA>?all the target tune options, or do I use the standard ones as well, id like to see whats going on with bike, but I have no idea what parameters the air's high/low should be, throttle position I THINK the other 2 were, I have a 2008 rocker c, so that doesn't apply, and the Lambda I know thats important as well, the high/low parameters? I have a 107 build,2-2 pipes, which I need to convert to a good set, just not sure which would suite me the best yet? un decided, I like a DEEP throaty Harley growl, not that loud annoying Raspy sound....also I haven't run bike yet, Jamie set it up, Hey Jamie :^) in idle I enabled the boxes and used the stock numbers? but nothing showed up number wise? possibly to cold, etc, I'm learning slowly...the parameters are what I'm most concerned with now, as I'm learning what they are, where they should be at certain rims etc....thanks/.appreciate it...Fuel Moto Hooked me up with a great setup, for a price honestly people charge for the power vision ALONE,and its tuned by a pro!! Very happy so far!! Love the quality as I did install.....
