First time using the Power Vision and my first M8. Seems like there is more development involved with the bluetooth tuning products that you can use with your phone.
WinPV is ok, I tried the powercore, just the free version and it didnt impress me. In the tuning software some of the columns are mislabeled after importing a pvt file, the data center does have some graphs to blend the data better. I have way too much time involved in this simple matter. There is a learning curve and Im stuck in it.
I got an introduction to tuning HDs in 2008 with the TTS and to Tune your bike without a dyno. If I had a local tuner Id gladly pay up and have it done.
The bike seems to be running good, stock 114 engine, fuel moto 2-1-2 SS headpipe, CVO mufflers with 2 fullsac baffles, ventilator A/C, SE manifold.
My tuning lab tools. LOL
not sure I am understanding. Power vision 3b does not have Bluetooth. With this tuner, WinPV has everything opened to you, whereas PowerCore is limited unless your a licensed tuner and can get a code from Dynojet. Supposedly tokens will be available some day.
having said that, the learning curve to tune in general is steep that is if you care about your bike 😬.
I have gone through FP4 and Harley SEPS tuners before landing on the Power Vision why? Because of ignorance and stupidity 😀. But if I had to do it over again, I would go with a TTS.

I think the PV 3B is clunky and could stand some refinement, hardware and software. I do like some of the options in the limit switches, oil cooler fans and such. I really like the suggestion about adding the brake bleed option suggested earlier but Ill prolly have to buy a PV4 for that. It works great as a flash tuner, using just the 3B and WinPV to tune with is time consuming. Using the spreadsheet to review data is tough because of the frames per second and lag. Once I got over that things went smoother.
Installed PV-4 with tune from Fuel Moto. Rode about week, short rides. Noticed small difference in performance and sound of exhaust. Figured I try to Autotune as the videos suggested 2 or 3 20 minute rides. Uploaded first Autotune and found there were 5 codes set. Cleared them but have not ridden again. E-mailed Fuel Moto ask if normal. They asked why I Autotuned and told them the video suggested it. Was told to put their original tune back if there wasn't a problem. I asked why and was told (quote) "If the auto tune does not see anything to fix it can cause negative effects, very common, if you must, make sure you save the tune we provided". Put the original tune back.
Has anyone experienced this and what did you do? Should I continue to Autotune or leave well enough alone? Reply was the negative effect it will run worse.
Thanks
If you're happy with how it runs and it doesn't exhibit any driveability issues, then you're all set. You may be leaving a few percent of fuel economy or power on the table, but nothing you will feel if you don't have an issue to address currently.
PV4 and abs brake bleed question. When I go to diagnostics there is not an option to do an abs brake bleed procedure. Does this option not appear until I have universal tokens on my account? I purchased 5 but it says 1-3 days. I assumed the option would already be there, then it would tell me to purchase tokens.

Are you on Android or IoS? If Android I don't believe it's available. Quick Tune isn't available on Android either but was released for IoS last September I believe.
I’m one of the guys that tried to auto tune after a change in mufflers. It made things worse. I put the tune Fuel Moto sent back in. Runs great. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
