How do you view the data logs from a power vision? If I open a file in excel, it shows that there is data but I don't know how to view it in a graph. If I open a log file in Powercore it looks like there is no data. What am I doing wrong?

make sure you save the tune in the same folder as the .csv file

You can view Power Vision logs in each of their native forms (.csv or .wp8 depending on which PV device you are using ) in the Power Core data center. To do so select Open and select the file you want to view, once open it is most useful to set the X axis to "time" and then choose the appropriate Power Vision channels on each Y axis.
At the end of the day they do the same thing. They load a tune into your ECM.
The PV3 is not as customizable on the fly. There are changes you can make on the PV2 that you cant on the PV3. The pv2 has gauges you can read realtime. Auto tuning, the PV2 displays your grid and you can easily see every cell. The pv2 is full color, touchscreen. The list goes on. The Pv3 just seems so limited compared to the pv2
And as things typically go... Product lines are progressions. Why is it that some say 1 and 2 are better than 3... And definitely better than 4. So then what does 3&4 do or do better than 1 or 2... What's the upgrade?

Most people just care about the price because most will never use all of the advanced features offered in the original Power Vision. The PV3 has a smaller screen and is priced lower than the original PV. The PV4 has no screen and is even cheaper than the PV3.
I’m new to the PV3, I cannot get the .djt files to open in the “C3” software. It errors out:
”there was an error opening the file: invalid file size; config table size does not match config def size.”
is there a PV3 / software for newbies instruction set somewhere? Both DynoJet and Fuel Moto are useless, any instructions seem to think you’re a pro tuner and no beginner info on just the basics of getting started or are doing the rah rah about the product.
I’m coming from a Screamin Eagle tuner background.

Email the tune file you are trying to open to jamie@fuelmotousa.com with a brief explanation of the issue you are encountering and Ill take a look.
I was able to open the tune without issue. It appears the definition file is not current in your C3 software. Please perform the following:
Open C3 tuning software> select Tools from the menu at the top of the screen> select View Loaded Definitions> click the file HD17F723 and click Reload Selected. This will update the definition and you will then be able to open your tune & logs.
If this does not work go into View Loaded Definitions and remove any def files manually by selecting Unload Selected Definitions and then when you open the tune it will automatically update.
If you need any additional assistance let me know.
For those following, I had customer update C3 software thru the Application Launcher> Tools> Options > select "get more recent bug fixes & updates"; issue has been resolved
