yes you are gonna need new neck cups to use the new style front ends, i got mine through Billetwerx.com

any downloadable copy of an FSM is most likely a pirate copy and you find anyone willing to post that info up publicly, i would recomend ebay for a legit paper copy

Definitely check Craigslist. And eBay browsing is a must! I built mine nearly completely from eBay auctions and stores. Check with Mike at old - stf cycles. His eBay store has a ton of ironhead stuff wether you wanna do a factory perfect resto or a radical chop! I have no affiliation with them, just had great experience with their service. Check out their YouTube video. Pretty cool!

From the factory, titles match both the frame and motor VINs, which are the same. Have you looked into titling with the DMV in your state, with mismatched VINs?

Ya They said its not really a problem all I have to do is have a bill of sale and fill out a modified vehicle form... The guy on the phone said its really common... and there really isnt any big deal to it... he sounded really relaxed about it so we will see. He said I shouldnt have any problem titling and registering it. I live in Pittsburgh Pa.

Any one come across any motors ?

Also guys I have some paint, primer reducer and clear coat Im trying to sell to get some cash together for the bike. So if anyone wants to help a first time Harley Owner actually get on his bike help me sell it??

I paid about 600 for it all

I would be happy with 400 Shipped...So let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks!

Cant say much very helpful, good luck with your build tho man. I feel your pain! Having motor troubles myself... If you happen to find any place that has good quality (motors/parts/ect) for sell please let me know and I'll do the same! By god if I gotta take the time to build a motor I'll be damned if it aint ganna be damn near bulletproof and runs better than new...! (gets me from A to B and then back to A would be cool tho I guess

..)
