As You know , we all make mistakes. I finally found a machine shop, the machinist had 30+ years experience. I took him the hub and rivets, he made a tool to press them in, the job came out great.....but, the big but, me being the butt..LOL, forgot to give him the spacer , so Now I have remove the new rivets, and get it done again...I told my Bro at the chopper shop this will be the most expensive kicker re-build in history, sheit, the rivets are $23.machine shop services $25, X 2 plus gears, I am dying here. However, when I am done, the mechanical side will be solid. Am now waiting on some welding work to be done to the frame. When that is done, will have one fine, solid, custom Sportie. As usual, re-builds always cost more than expected.
