The oil tank became a hurdle. I was too focused on the fenders and gas tanks and forgot about other things that needed to be done. Both are oem tanks, one each for the 46 and 41, now both are ready for the frames.
Im back on it now that I got a few other projects out of the way.
The rear fender was a bit of a challenge and there's a small bracket on the oil tank I need to massage to make the fender not stressed into position. It's never straight forward.
Is that a repop kick pedal or real deal War time solid pedal? I would love to have one for my '46, every time I see one they are too expensive and shot to ****.

It's a repop that came with the bike, looks pretty good and I have plastic grips, metal mat foot boards too. I haven't looked for a mint original because I wouldn't want to use it not to mention the cost and a roached original wont look right on this build. Im on the fence about using an original muffler on the bike, no plans at this time to have it judged.
That is about the price you usually see, and I would be scared to put it on the bike and kick her through. Damn thing would probably break into a hundred pieces on the second kick. But it would be cool.
