M8 problems

Ask me about my constantly crashing factory NAV system on my 2021 Chevy Colorado.
In the entire five years, that bike required absolutely no service work other than maintenance. When I traded her in on the new beast you see in my sig, it didn't burn, drop, or otherwise lose a drop of oil. It religiously got 42-44 MPG. It took me to Daytona once and Sturgis four times. And not once did she let me down.
Manufacturers have gotten better over the years, including Harley. Machines do break, however, and our personal tribulations tend to shade our POV on things.
Side story - my 2010 Limited left me stranded once. Halfway to Daytona, the front wheel bearing started screaching. Found a dealership pretty close by, and it was toast - seal was blown and some of the bearings had actually escaped. Well my buddy on his Victory had a field day - he laughed and laughed at what a POS Harleys were to blow a wheel bearing like that.
True story - the very next year on the way to Sturgis, guess who burned a rear wheel bearing? That's right, my Victory riding buddy. Only the search for a dealership was not so easy, and the parts weren't in stock. Needless to say, I had the last - and loudest - laugh. Moral of the story being, they're all machines and they're all prone to breaking.
thanks in advance
